Heron in Boboli Gardens

In Florence, Italy, one can roam the Boboli Gardens,vwith a large pond surrounded by trees and statuary. I was surprised to find a heron. I had such fun recapturing that scene. I used black Uart, underpainting the background trees and the pile of rocks. I used Faber Castell, Panpastel, Dianne Townsend , Sennelier as well as Carbothello, Caran d'Ache, Conte, and Derwent pastel pencils.
