Golden Parrot Tulips by the Sea

I painted this piece on Canson MiTientes (blue) with PanPastels in the background, and a variety of soft pastels: Art Spectrum, Rembrandt, Dianne Townsend, and Sennelier. I finished severa edges of the petals with Caran d'Ache and Derwent pastel pencils. I was inspired by a photograph taken by a friend, Tania, who gave me permission to use it for inspiration.
