“Summer Oasis” is about a summer romantic getaway. It focuses on the sunlight and shadows on white against white. I put the figure, whose back is facing the audience, in this setting to create more a mystery to the story. Like the lady in the painting, one may wonder what is behind the arch, the steps and the door... This leaves viewers to imagine their own stories.
