First Flush Darjeeling

My first proper attempt at a still life painting working entirely from life. I decided to include these objects as I feel like tea literally fuels my creative process! The backdrop is my favourite skirt draped to create texture and colour. I used mostly Unison pastels but also tried some of my first Henri Roché pastels in this. Definitely a creative process that I enjoyed from beginning to end.
