The inspiration for this painting came from a biking adventure my husband and I did on a section of the 73 mile long Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes bike path in Idaho. I was attracted to the light patterns on the bike trail as the sun poked through the trees and open areas of the rock walls lining the path.
