The colors of the Arizona desert lend themselves to pastels and for the several months I was there, I painted many, many pictures. The photo was cluttered with cars but decided to simplify and concentrate on the beauty of the rock formation. Painting is of Javelina Rocks in Saguaro National Park East near Tucson, AZ. This was done on UArt 600 glued to foam core.
