Untitled no. 4

So many possible titles for this one, not even sure what my own intent was other than it started out abstract then developed into this. So here is "Untitled no.4", open to interpretation, pastel on 600 grit #Uart paper 12" x 9", unframed.

One thing is certain: humans are deeply tied to nature whether we want to admit it or not. Changes happen to our bodies and spirits just as trees and animals go through endless changes. I was inspired by the fall colors in a Japanese garden near me. So as the figure developed, I began thinking of our relationship to nature, and just how much it influences our very existence.
